Each of the two messenger-style packs features a quick-release buckle and waterproof zippers to provide easy and convenient access to treats, pick-up bags, and other belongings (there's even a special slot for identification and ownership information). The two main storage compartments on either side also feature waterproof zippers to protect larger items and belongings from the elements.
