Feather Clipping Scissors If you choose to keep your bird's flight feathers clipped, these scissors are especially made for clipping. Scissors have stainless steel blades, comfort grip handle, and have a blunt point for safety. Feather clipping scissors are approximately 5-1/2 inches long. NOTE: Always use caution when clipping your bird's flight feathers and before clipping check to see if there are newly forming blood feathers. If you have never clipped your bird's flight feathers before, you may wish to have someone with experience do the job for you showing you the proper way to safely clip your bird's flight feathers.
